Personal Bio:

My wife, Shelby, and I live in San Luis Obispo. We have four kids, Asa, Amelia, Grace, and Levi. We love staying involved in our SLO community and church. You can catch us enjoying one of the many local beaches, camping somewhere along the coast, or taking a trip to the mountains. I also enjoy coaching the local youth baseball and wrestling programs.

• Rose Porter received a Bachelor’s in Personal Financial Planning from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

• Rose Porter has several years of experience working in Fee-Only Fiduciary Financial Planning.

Personal Bio:

Rose was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She’s married to her husband (Matthew) and they have a son (Max). As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors and visiting with their relatives. Rose enjoys planting a vegetable garden in the summer, canning, baking, being involved with her church, and most of all she loves being a mom.

Where does the name “Aquila” come from?

Aquila means “Eagle” in Latin and it’s a biblical reference to a first-century Christian missionary married couple, Aquila and Priscilla. They were known for encouraging and guiding others towards maximizing their time and resources for lasting impact.
